General introduction followed by a walk of the course for anyone unfamiliar. Payment, which I expect to be £6 per paddler will be made at the office. Generally electronic payment is preferred, card or phone. Each paddler will be issued with a wrist band which must be returned when off the water. Changing rooms and showers are available adjacent to the office.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce changed we will assemble for a briefing, suitable groups will be matched with coaches and then to the water.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhilst the trip is aimed at less experienced paddlers, other club paddlers are welcome to attend and groups will also be matched with a coach or coaches. Please, note however, that in the event there are insufficient coaches in attendance I will prioritise the less experienced paddlers so until numbers are known it won’t be possible to guarantee paddling on the main course. I don’t anticipate this being an issue however.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShould there be sufficient coach cover and for those unfamiliar with HPP itself, you can expect grade 2/3 water, with challenging eddies, stoppers and play waves. The course really does have something for everyone!\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy October the water will be cooler so suitable clothing must be worn. I would expect as a minimum a wet suit and cag top. Other equipment as always will also be required, helmet, BA, spraydeck and suitable footwear.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBring a towel and dry clothing for afterwards as appropriate.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlso some refreshment for on the water, so a drink and a snack.
